Christ Church members gathered together to perform acts of Service on our last Service Saturday. We began the morning with fellowship and signing up for locations.
Our mission is to learn how to grow healthy fruits and vegetables, and give them to people who are in need of them.
Our Pantry Pile-Up item for April is juice boxes and snack packs for children. These items will go to Partnership’s domestic violence shelter.
The Annual Women's Ministry Mad Hatter's Tea on March 15th is sold out!
Plans are well under way for the 2014 Costa Rica Mission Trip. This year's team has 20 members, including 13 first timers. The trip is scheduled for July 19-26.
The Ladies Supper Club will be meeting Tuesday, May 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Sticky Fingers at Hamilton Place.
Room In The Inn is a local shelter for women and their children who are in need of short-term food and lodging. Christ Church provides the evening meal 3 times a month.
Openings are available in the donut cutting and coffee ministries. Donut ministry involves cutting and setting out donuts for two services; requires 1-2 hours about once per quarter.
Baked Blessings, a ministry of Christ Church, is an opportunity for individuals or families to bake cookies or brownies for people who are homeless.

Hartnell Farms is an exciting move towards using a generous gift by a longstanding and compassionate Methodist to see her farm used to feed the urban poor and glorify God. We (Mustard Tree Ministry, St. Andrews Center, Mercy Junction and First Baptist Church) are clearing, cleaning and tending to the first season of crops and need volunteers to help.
Come join us on Sunday, April 27, for a very special day! We are doing it again – on the Sunday after Easter, we will have one huge worship service outside on our church lawn, followed by lunch, inflatable games, a petting zoo, pony rides, youth kick ball, and lots of fun for all. Worship music will start at 10:00 on the grassy area in front of the entrance to the new addition.
This year our high school youth (Grades 9-12) are going to Lake Junaluska, NC for their annual mission trip.

The Care & Share Ministry provides meals for families in our church that are going through a crisis and are not involved in a Sunday School class or small group.

Christ Church is starting a new ministry for those in our community with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers. “Let’s Sing from Memory” will provide a time for fellowship and to share a fun time singing the old songs we all love and remember.

East Ridge Cares is starting soon! ER Cares is an after-school mentoring, tutoring, and feeding program for children living in extended stay hotels.
We have created a blog to help keep everyone up to date on the progress of Grace Home, the orphanage being built in the South Sudan.
