A New Ministry For Orphans Organizing!

Katy Higgins, a member here at Christ Church, is leading an effort to construct a new ministry for orphaned children around the world. God calls christians to care for fatherless and orphaned children, to ease their suffering.

There are over 140 million orphans in the world, but this is not just a statistic. These are individual children who desperately need to be experience the love and compassion of God, who loves them more than anything. Every day around the world, children die of treatable illnesses and millions go without food, water, and shelter. Although it seems an unimaginable task, if one orphan’s life is changed, a difference has been made. Now is time for Christ Church members and friends with a passion for such a ministry to come together and work to make a difference. This general ministry to orphans will be in addition to the work that Christ Church is currently doing with the orphanage in South Sudan. We need your help to meet the needs of these forgotten treasures.
