Men United Breakfast
Come join us in the gym on Saturday morning, June 29, from 8:30 to 10 for a delicious and hearty breakfast. In addition to getting to know other Christ Church men, you will see a preview of upcoming men's ministry events and hear a very informative presentation on how Christ Church is stepping up its regional missions work, especially in disaster rebuilding.
Young Adults Group
Christ United Methodist Church is very blessed to have a active and energetic Young Adults Ministry. This ministry is geared towards 18-35 year olds.
Men’s Accountable Discipleship Groups
These new groups are focusing on what it means to be accountable Christian disciples in covenant relationship with one another. Three groups were very recently formed, and we can get you into one of those or start another if there is enough interest. Bill Teem at 508-6848.
Coffee with the Pastors!
On the first Sunday of each month, all of our visitors are invited to meet our pastoral staff for coffee in the Trinity Woodmore Chapel between 12:15 and 1:30 p.m.
Singles Ministry
Single Ladies’ Supper Club
The Ladies Supper Club was formed to encourage single women in our church who are age 50+ to make and build strong friendships. We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Reservations are required each month. For more information, call Ann Boleman at 423/855-8701.
Older Adults
JOY Group is for anyone 55 and older. The group meets on the second Tuesday of the month for dinner at 6:00 p.m. at the church. A monthly newsletter is published of other get togethers and gatherings. For more information on the Joy Group, call Eleanor Matheny at 490-3065.
LIFE is a non-denominational, educational, and enrichment program. A variety of classes are held on Thursdays, September - early May. For more information, call the church office at 892-9363.
