Men's Ministry
Men United is Christ Church’s chapter of the United Methodist Men. We hope to include all men as we seek to know Christ more fully and to serve Him more faithfully. We are excited to be offering the following activities, studies, and ministry opportunities for men at Christ Church.
If you have questions about any of these or suggestions for other activities, please contact the person listed by the item or Mark Shull at 423-508-5554.
First Disaster Response Meeting!
25 people met with Damon Riggs and Paul Edmonson last Wednesday, August 1 for the first meeting of the new Christ UMC disaster response team. They discussed the roles and responsibilities of the team and the plans for continued training to help them become prepared for future disaster response missions.
Men’s Accountable Discipleship Groups
These new groups are focusing on what it means to be accountable Christian disciples in covenant relationship with one another. Three groups were very recently formed, and we can get you into one of those or start another if there is enough interest. Bill Teem at 508-6848.

Fixit Ministry
The Fixit Ministry, sponsored by Men United, is designed to connect men with basic "fixit" skills with members of our church and community that have "fixit" needs. These skills include basic, non building permit type home repair. If you are an individual with physical limitations with a "fixit" need or know someone who does, please sign up as a Fix It volunteer click here to fill out a volunteer form online.
