Telling God’s Stories on Stage – Bringing the Bible to Life for Kids!
The J Crew is a group of Christ UMC Youth committed to sharing God’s message through drama. We perform about once a month during the Sunday morning children’s church sessions, or J.A.M.
Our plays correlate with the curriculum taught in J.A.M. and enhance the worship and learning experience of the audience – children in grades K-5.
J Crew actors rehearse 4 times prior to performance, actively participate in the evolution of each skit and are encouraged to share their talents and gifts with the church body through this creative ministry. NO AUDITIONS REQUIRED!

Click here to download/print the information sheet. Complete it and bring it with you to the first rehearsal.

Stuff you need to know
· Sign up on a monthly basis. You should be available for the performance date and at least 3 of the 4 rehearsals (final rehearsal is mandatory)
· Rehearsals are held on Saturdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the church. The schedule may vary slightly but will be posted for each skit.
· Dress rehearsal and sound check is always the Sunday morning of the performance at 8:30 a.m. and is mandatory
· Performances are in the gym during Sunday morning J.A.M. at both 9:30 and 11:00 services.
