Our Mission & Vision
Christ United Methodist Church is one of God's many communities of grace. We are embracing God's message of transformation and reconciliation to all persons — men and women; rich and poor; black, white and yellow; young and old; single and married. We are often playful in our meetings and worship experiences, but always in pursuit of God's mission to the world.
Our Beliefs
· We are created to worship and serve the Creator.
· The Bible is the authoritative word of God for the people of God.
· Salvation comes from a relationship with the resurrected Jesus Christ.
· Disciples of Christ are on a spiritual journey of faith and works.
· Disciples of Christ use their spiritual gifts to care for each other and to reach out in ministry to the world.

Inclement Weather Policy
In the event that severe weather, such as snow, occurs in Chattanooga, Christ Church wants you to know what to expect regarding scheduled events and worship. Please note the following policies, but feel free to contact us if you have questions at 423-892-9363.
Futures Report
Every three or four years, we form a Future's Team and develop a plan for the next five years. In April, 2007 the Christ Church Council approved the latest plan, and already God is leading us through and beyond our dreams. Click here to read a report of their findings.
