Christ Town Praise and Worship
3 year olds (by 9/30/09) thru Kindergarten
9:30 am and 11:00 am, Christ Town Praise and Worship Center
Preschoolers are engaged in a wide variety of teaching forms to help begin their relationship with God. The children are taught age appropriate praise and worship music thru finger plays and DVD’s. Children will learn new Bible songs and some of the old favorites! Bible stories will be told through skits, puppets and storytellers all working to bring some of the best-loved Bible stories to life! Children will divide up by age to look further into Bible memory verses, hands-on Bible learning and fun age level games reinforcing the day’s story. At least one parent per household will volunteer in Kids Own Worship as either a teacher or registration volunteer during the year
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)-Elementary Praise and Worship
1st-3rd Grade
9:30 am and 11:00 am, Gym/Multi-purpose Room
Children focus on God in a multi-media interactive program of music, memorable Bible learning, engaging activities, prayer time, and Huddle groups. This hour, led by Ms. Dyar, is an opportunity for children to learn how to worship in God’s house before moving on to Adult worship. The children sing songs, take up an offering and learn the proper reverence during worship. That is not to say there is not some serious fun with hula-hoops, bouncy balls and who knows what else! The children break up into Huddle Groups to engage each other in question and answer games with the toss of the Huddle Group ball. J.A.M. focuses on Bible truths and stories that kids enjoy. Children are encouraged to be dropped off 10 minutes before each service in the Gym/Multi-purpose Room. Children are to be picked up immediately following the worship service. Parents will be asked to periodically volunteer during the service.

 Sunday SchoolBible Village
3 year olds (by 9/30/09) thru 3rd Grade
8:45 am and 10:00 am, Children’s Building
Children will come to know God through our Bible Town Sunday School Program. This program is done in a rotation format and focuses on the different learning styles of children by teaching creative and experiential workshops including storytelling, video, computer activities, and crafts. The children will rotate, week to week to different classrooms, each with a different presentation of the featured Bible story. Join us for a walk thru our Bible Village! Children will report to the children's building.
Grapple: A 4th and 5th Grade Ministry
Preteens are a moving target. Kids in 4th and 5th Grades are too old for children’s classes, but too young for youth. They need Grapple—a program that answers real-life preteen questions and tackles the issues preteens care about most! Grapple will captivate their attention by digging into the real-life issues 4/5th Graders are dealing with every day. It engages their participation through attention-grabbing lessons, thought-provoking videos, fun games, and deep, life-changing Bible lessons. We want to inspire kids to connect throughout the week with their very own safe and secure online community at MyGrapple.com, and, most important, Encourage faith practice with weekly challenges that dare preteens to apply what they’ve learned in simple yet effective ways.
