UMW Mission Trip

Clothes Closet

Did you know Christ Church has a clothes closet?  The closet offers a way to show love, concern and compassion.  As your family cleans out clothes ( backpacks, suitcases, pocketbooks, blankets, sheets, towels, etc.) you can donate them to the closet for reuse.

Costa Rica Mission Trip 2009

Sunday Morning Small Groups

Help Plan Our Alternative Gift Market

We Will Begin Tutoring Soon!

ImageThanks to some dedicated organizers in our congregation, volunteers will soon be tutoring 10 East Brainerd Elementary students on tuesday afternoons.  The purpose of the program is to bring the children to local churches, provide a snack, help the children with homework, tutor them in academic basics, and show them the love of Christ.  If you are interested in becoming a tutor, please contact Kari Martin at 892-9363.

Elmcroft & TLC Ministries

ImageElmcroft Ministry reaches out to the residents at Elmcroft’s Alzheimer’s unit.  Join us the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month for an afternoon of crafts with the residents.  The group meets during the school year August - May at the church at 2:30 p.m.   For more information, please call Norma Lane at 706/937-3025.
TLC volunteers visit homebound and nursing home residents who could use a cheery hello or quick visit from a friendly face.  If you would like to volunteer, please call Orville Biddle at 510-1534.
